The Board of Directors of ARISE (Adirondack Residents Intent on Saving their Economy), has received a unanimous vote of support from their 5,000+ members, to request that the New York State Legislature and Governor Patterson, refuse to appoint Peter Hornbeck to the Adirondack Park Agency Board of Commissioners.
Mr. Hornbeck’s previous positions on Adirondack issues is clearly documented, and further threatens the economic well-being of the Adirondack Park. ARISE further supports the re-appointment of Art Lussi, who has demonstrated his concern for the area economy, while balancing the natural resource issues.
